Please order as soon as possible! Give yourself time to receive the helmet, test the fit, and make sure that you don't need to exchange for a different size or model.

We offer FREE standard shipping on orders of $160 or more. Orders under $160 ship at a flat rate, calculated at checkout. 1-Day and 2-Day shipping comes at an additional charge.
DO YOU NEED A DOT HELMET?
DO YOU NEED A DOT HELMET?
Different states have different laws requiring the use of a DOT certified helmet. It's important to check local laws to verify if a DOT certified helmet is required.
Even if a specific state doesn't require a DOT helmet, the park you're visiting might. Be sure to check their website for more information.
For example, the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System requires DOT certified helmets to ride.

Yes! The GRIT DOT is D.O.T. FMVSS No. 218 Certified and Labeled.

The GRIT DOT also fits with Cardo Packtalk systems, but NOT the Edgephones due to the inflexibility of the headband.

- The padding can be used to adjust the size and fit of your GRIT DOT Helmet
- Simply remove the padding and replace it with your preferred size
- Try not to cover the air channels
- The top piece of padding is always 4 mm

- Clean the outside of the helmet with warm water, mild soap, and a soft washcloth.
- Remove the detachable padding and rinse it off. Use a cloth to dry it or hang to dry.
- The inside of the helmet can be cleaned the same way as the outside: warm water, mild soap, and a soft washcloth.
- Dry outside and inside of helmet with a soft, dry cloth to help prevent scratches.

The Trail Helmet is not DOT approved.
Our GRIT DOT and Trail Daytona are DOT approved.

- The smallest piece of extra padding goes on the inside of the hand dial against the back of your head.
- The rounded piece will go on the top, where the crown of your head rests.
- The long piece will go across the front of the helmet. Line it up with the air slots and you should be good to go!
**2XL does not come with additional padding.
